Hey everyone. I'm looking to upgrade my Hi-Hats to a pair of A Zildjian New Beats (14"). I play mostly rock, pop, and I play in a local jazz band which plays really old jazz tunes, old "pop" tunes, and some old rock tunes. I want some hats that are not too bright, but not dark enough to be...

No problem guys. If someone wants to put them up on their webserver, feel free. I don't want my hosting provider to get smashed because of the size of the file, so I'm not going to keep it up for much longer.

How does the MXL 603's compare to the Rode NT5's?

IIRC, the Rode's are a darker SDC, while the MXL603's are a brighter SDC. That should give you some direction at least.

Ethan, Thanks a lot for the tip! I had no idea you could do that in Sound Forge. Just like you have on your website, I should create one sine wave from 40Hz to 300Hz, right? Thanks, Justin

Looking for mixer with direct outs

You can use the inserts to get the same thing. Just click the cable in until it clicks once, and you have a direct out.
