Downloaded the latest driver. If I plug in and turn on the interface everything is fine. But my daw says it can’t load the driver. So I open the settings panel and it crashes.
Yes this all makes sense and after seeing what processor I have I understand that it would be a pain but what I can’t figure out is why the settings panel download for this interface freezes my whole computer when it opens. I haven’t even got to open the daw.
Windows 7 64 bit and the processor is AMD E 450. I’m not sure what the chip is.
I use Cubase 9 with a 2 channel interface for a while now. But the new interface is a tascam us-16x08 16 input.
Hey everyone. I ordered a new interface without stupidly checking my computer system. This particular requires a 2 ghz processor and I assumed mine had that like most PCs do these days. Mine has 1.65. Its soldered in and can’t upgrade. Does anyone know if that will be an actual issue or will it...
Yes I was thinking about that too. Probably going to have the drummer further from them and would probably put everyone in a circle so no mics pick up another person.
It will unfortunately be setup in an untreated open room. Everything will be direct in for low volume ( I’m in an apartment). So no, there won’t be isolation of vocalists. But there will be no acoustic instruments. They have an electric drum set they want to use.
I’m an engineer just starting out. I have a group wanting to record all in one take like a live performance. They have three vocalists and I already have one Samson C01 condenser mic. Should I get two more condenser mics or use a dynamic mic?
Any suggestions on either?
