Ok, my songs are all over the place. Anything from Alter Bridge to John Mayer to acoustic singer-songwriter-ish pieces. I guess my main needs right now is a mic. A SM57 or MXL990. Doesn't have to be those particular mics...

Yeh, that is what you're looking for. It has 8 mic inputs so you could plug up to 8 baby blues if you wanted lol. I don't have any experience with that brand particularly, but Im sure someone here could tell you if it's a good one or not. But as far as inputs and all that...that interface has a...
I didn't see any XLR outputs on the interface. I'll look again, but I dont think I did. I meant the other way around, but like I said, I'll look again. :confused:
It looks like you need a TRS > XLR male cable. You can go to sweetwaters website and do the cable finder and build the cable yourself. I would wait until another person answers just to be sure, but that's what it looks like to me. ;)
