Well one thing you need to figure out is how do you want to record your band, some people always want to record all at once for that 'live' feel or like albums which are often if not all the time recorded separate and added together. If you want the live method then you will need to spend more...
I don't have that mixer nor had any experience with a USB mixer but from my days at school doing Music Technology I remember the mixers having a button that allowed the headphones to be used, some had a 'volume' which was like a monitor mix which controlled the amount of playback coming back to...
Thanks a lot man. Thats my main problem when trying to learn solos is that I can never just hear the solo if you get what I mean its always some other part I hear and then when I follow a tab I'm thinking well that can't be right cause I hear someothing completely different.
But thanks again bro.
I think the best way for you to do this and get better results would be to get a DAW such a Reason or one of the many out there, recording your song through that then when you want to make the video just 'mime' along and sync the two together.
I had/have the same problem I just recently bought my interface, midi keyboard, mics etc I got everything plugged in and ready to go but had no idea what to do apart from just testing stuff out like the mics or the software. But recently as already suggested I was listening to a song I like and...
I have the C-2's which are the small Condensers and I haven't had any noise like that from them. As other people have said keep the main level down when I record from mine I never have it past the half way on my interface, as for your latest post regarding the 'amplified' part do you do that on...
How is that revelent,
But yeah I agree with MJB when your buying your interface I would look into buying some monitors rather than your computer speakers or if your budget won't stretch that far some decent headphones.
I am in need of some vocals for my cover of Boulevard of Broken Dreams (Boulevard of Broken Dreams (cover) by tomanderson1991 on SoundCloud - Create, record and share your sounds for free) I have just started with home recording and this is/will be my first cover.
A Click track ? Yeah I have one in Cubase. And Yeah I know the song is lacking due to no bass, drums and vocals I tried the vocals myself but as I said I really can't sing I mean it's not too bad but not good enough to be recorded, as for drums if I had the room I would get a cheap'ish kit and...
Sup Dogmatic
I was hoping you would be able to help me out a little, After listening to your Baker Street cover I can see you have a great talent at playing guitar, where as I'm just starting to learn and I don't know if you've seen or not but I've recently done a guitar cover of Boulevard of...
Well I'm current half way through my holiday from work and I thought why not try and actually record something that isn't just testing my new stuff out and I thought that Boulevard of Broken Dreams by Green day would be a pretty good start.
I haven't recorded vocals cause I can't sing at all...
