    Need a little guidance...

Well one thing you need to figure out is how do you want to record your band, some people always want to record all at once for that 'live' feel or like albums which are often if not all the time recorded separate and added together. If you want the live method then you will need to spend more...

    Question about recording vocals

In that case I would go for the SM57 it's a great dynamic mic that you can use for pretty much anything providing you have the knowledge on how to.

USB Mixer Issue...Please help this frustrated noob

I don't have that mixer nor had any experience with a USB mixer but from my days at school doing Music Technology I remember the mixers having a button that allowed the headphones to be used, some had a 'volume' which was like a monitor mix which controlled the amount of playback coming back to...

    Live recording on video/webcam

I think the best way for you to do this and get better results would be to get a DAW such a Reason or one of the many out there, recording your song through that then when you want to make the video just 'mime' along and sync the two together.

I have the C-2's which are the small Condensers and I haven't had any noise like that from them. Need a recommendation for a sound card

How is that revelent, But yeah I agree with MJB when your buying your interface I would look into buying some monitors rather than your computer speakers or if your budget won't stretch that far some decent headphones.

Need a recommendation for a sound card

By Inputs he was referring to Mic inputs, instrument inputs, MIDI etc Do you already have any monitors if so what connection do they use.

    Driving speakers:

He means a mixerless studio (I think) as in where you use an interface and just plug stuff into that.

    Driving speakers:

Your audio interface will have either RCA out or 1/4" jack out which then goes into your monitors.

    Boulevard of Broken Dreams

A Click track ? Yeah I have one in Cubase. And Yeah I know the song is lacking due to no bass, drums and vocals I tried the vocals myself but as I said I really can't sing I mean it's not too bad but not good enough to be recorded, as for drums if I had the room I would get a cheap'ish kit and...
