is this a fair price for a strat?

All right. Do you think saying that I saw them for a fair amount less on the internet will help me. Also if I show them that guitar center auction do you think that will help get the price lower?

is this a fair price for a strat?

Well how do you guys think I would get the best results bargining with them? Do you think I should say that I saw them four around $600 on the internet. I found an old ebay auction that ended a few days ago. It actually was done through guitar center so I was thinking about printing that...

is this a fair price for a strat?

Yeah I have bargined with them too. What if I want to pay credit though? I think it can be a little harder to bargin with credit, but the bank will be closed and I think I might try to get it tommarrow.

is this a fair price for a strat?

I checked again and it is actually a 1998 or 1999 guitar. I have been doing some research and it seems that there are a bunch of different models of American strats. I played a new strat that was (I think) on sale for $629 and this used one sounded a fair amount better than it. I really like...

is this a fair price for a strat?

I went to guitar center today. They had a used strat that sounded great. It is an American Standard. I took the serial number and found out that it was made during 1993-1994. The price was $799. Is this a fair price? I know I won't get rock bottom price on used stuff there because there is...

    Kick drum: triggering? samples? drumagog?

So you are having the same problem I am. Then does anybody know of some freeware or shareware that I could get so that I could just replace the bass drum, export a wav, and then open it into acid?

    Kick drum: triggering? samples? drumagog?

So does the quality of the triggers really matter? Will I have trouble picking up stuff with the cheap one? And grn do you have any idea what is happening with acid? I have the plugin in the folder you told me to put it in according to your pm, but it still doesn't seem to work. After you...

    Kick drum: triggering? samples? drumagog?

Or does anybody just have triggers that they could try to record straight into something. As long as that works I am pretty sure you would have no problem with them rest of it. Also I have heard about people making their own triggers. Does anybody know of some good websites or past threads...

    Kick drum: triggering? samples? drumagog?

I don't think he was using drumagog. I think most the people in this thread are talking about using a simplier free thing.

    Kick drum: triggering? samples? drumagog?

Well because I am on a tight budget (who isn't?:D) I would just get a cheap trigger and use that free software. I have a sample cd with some drum sounds and I think there are some that I like. I don't need anything great as long as it does that job, which I think that free stuff. So if I...

Strings for a Howard Roberts Fusion

Jazz players use heavy strings and don't bend notes very often. With blues though you bend strings all the time so most blues players use lighter strings. If you like heavy strings for jazz though there is another option. You could do what Stevie Ray Vaughn, Jimi Hendrix, and many other blues...

    Kick drum: triggering? samples? drumagog?

Have you actually done that. I am either going to buy a really cheap mic to basically act like a trigger or whatever or plug a trigger straight in if your method works. Whatever is better and cheaper.
