I purchased a Trion 8000 a while back which I A/B'd with my Studio Projects T3. I found that the T3 had a huge space and depth which the Trion didn't have when recording an acoustic guitar. The Trion sounded really 2D and thin compared to my T3, so I sent it back. YMMV. -mr moon
