The four stages of digesting that statement:
1.
2.
3.
4. :D :D :D
However, I'm thinking that in the future, someone will use this as a marketing ploy! ...and the best part is, someone will fall for it! ;)

My dominant blonde-gene makes the simplest of tasks excruciatingly difficult at times! :D
...Actually, I have an RNC and I'm hoping there's some info regarding hooking it up to the RNP using inserts and such. Plus, I'm one of those "simpletons" who reads the manual BEFORE I play with a new...
Hi.
I was wondering if anyone here at Homerec has an electronic (.pdf) copy of the RNP Quickstart Guide that I could have you send me via email? I just received my new RNP yesterday and last night I noticed that I have received a copy of the manual that is missing all the odd pages (...that's...
IMHO, the "Bark" mics are crap. I have one to use as a talk-back mic and I only bought it because it was so cheap and it had an "on-off" switch. Sounds like @ss on anything I've tried it on, but it works as a talk-back mic.

KL,
I have one of the Behringer UB 1202's, and like you have heard from others here, it is what is is: cheap and not anything to use for "serious" recording, however, it does have its uses. I use mine for band rehearsals as a mixer for our PA system, and as of recently, for mixing our in-ear...
Hi Jake-owa,
Thanks for the feedback. I'll take a listen for the high-end. I had received some other feedback that the previous version didn't have enough sizzle on the highs, maybe I went a bit overboard? :o
Thanks! This mixing stuff is beginning to make sense...

Thanks for the feedback and compliments! I feel honored to be able to play with these folks (I'm the guitarist) as well as writing, recording, producing, and mixing our own tunes. It makes music fun!

No, it destroys only high-end (read: expensive) mics such as: Neumann, Gefell, and such. Somehow, the lower-end (read: less-expensive) mics have developed some kind of immunity, so only send me the high-end mics. Now!! Before it's too late!!!!

Don't worry it is a hoax.
However, if it were a real virus or worm, it would travel through your computer mouse or keyboard, into your hands, then into your lungs, finally to be sprayed out of your mouth in tiny dropplets as you sing into your microphone. Your microphone would be infected and...

Hi folks,
I slammed out an updated mix of "Dust Under the Wheel" late last night, and it's ready to be critiqued, slammed, or whatever. I took everyone's comments into consideration when I approached it this time around, and I'm ready to see what ya' all think.
Dust Under The Wheel...
What I did is just get this $30 device called a "video splitter amplifier" from an online vender which allows me to send the same signal to 2 monitors at the same time (on at my DAW the other in my recording area in an ajoining room). That way, I can record away from the fan noise my computer...
