I agree the balance needs looking at, Jimmy & Rami REALLY know about drums so it's worth thinking about! for myself apart from the balance I think the drums sound good :rolleyes: as does the whole track!

There's been new updates again,pretty big as well on march 2nd & the manual, my PC's offline as well. I put them on a stick & install from there, saves hasstle as they come thick & fast! :D

I don't know if you've got your update warning thing turned on in Reaper but there's been another big update to midi/editor & the manual! I thought since you're going to be doing a lot of midi piano & such it makes sense to update to the newest features for midi just in case! :)

So you klick on >INSERT> insert NEW MIDI ITEM, & when you double klick on THAT NEW MIDI ITEM in the track nothing happens? What about if you press "E" instead of double klicking which should open the inline editor? :confused:

Have you tried right clicking on the track & checking the midi editor options?:rolleyes:

Sorry man you are right, :spank: I think there must be a bug, which I will get on the case. In the meantime here's a workaround for you,try this as a test create 4 trks in imperial, select the 4 then open action list & in top right section select MAIN(alt rec) 2nd down then in filter type...

Hi ron-e-g I'm not @ my machine now , but off the top of my head say you got two gtr trks add another pull it above the other trks then, I think it's like 3lines in top left side of trk panel( just above the trk name) well, klik that & it'll say trk becomes folder & all the trks below that are...

yeh they concentrate on midi a lot because it was was a bit behind the audio functions although what I know about midi I just wrote! But there have been quite a lot of new things added, stretch markers were big for me! @Armistice, did you get the sws extensions yet? And don't forget the manual...

Maybe if you created another track,send the first to the other, put a comp as an INPUT fx on the new track, the first track would display the waveform with no comp applied, & the next WITH comp? :) there's probably loadsa ways to do it, this is just off the top of my head (which is exposed to...
