Hey Man. Cool tune you're working on. Check out the vocal level from 0:59 to 1:08. Maybe a little low??? I have a question: how much production influence are you having on these guys? They're starting to sound like another band I know. :) Nice job, as usual!

Why do you think this is true? Mastering engineers have been here and commented on this recently. This IS a viable option.

Just listened. As the mastering engineer, it would help the artist to recommend a remix. As the previous posters said, the mix has problems.

Robert- The list on the top would be rough place to start rolling off the bass. Again, it's a rough place to start. For example, I may have the cutoff higher on certain guitar parts to make room for the body of another instrument or vocal. That other comment, "-6db at 315hz..." seems kinda...

Wait to get the vocals before starting to mix. Guitars and vox will share some of the same spectrum.

I do agree that the best mix would give us the best opportunity to make a good master, but I would be more interested in making a so-so recording into something better.
