In cakewalk, you would have to select the clip you want to copy (click on it), select copy, then select paste. A dialogue should pop up, and you should be able to choose which track it is pasted to, what time it is pasted to, how many times it is pasted, etc... experiment from that, it's hard...

There's a program at www.goldenhawk.com called CDRWIN, that can do what you describe. You have to create a cuesheet file, but it has a good help section on how to make those (look at the examples). The downloadable version will only record at 1x, that's the only limitation. Hope it's useful...

It seems to work fine with ISA soundblasters... but the manual says it doesn't like other PCI audio cards that use a Motorola chipset (i.e. event electronics). Not a problem in my case, but consider yourself warned :) William Underwood

ignore that last bit... Just right click on the audio clip you want to fix, go to audio effects, choose your DC offset plugin. In the case of AnalogX DC Offset, you then have to hit audition, and then Analyse... that way the plugin gets enough info to fix the offset, then hit okay, and your...

This might be useful: put the DC offset plugin onto the track in the console view, then select the track in the track view, and select 'Mix-down audio' from the tools menu. This will work in Version 8, I'm not sure about versions before that.
