    Finally ready for another listen!

Thanks for the comments guys! I really appreciate them! The keyboard idea is a real jem. I may have to pick a cheapie up and start learning some chords. :)

Death Before Dishonor....for the last time....I promise

I don't really have anything of value to say other than I listened to it and liked it. The recording sure sounds good to me and I think you done a really good job crafting the song. :)

    Finally ready for another listen!

Thanks! I have and do listen to other people's tracks....and most of them that I hear on this site are much further along than anything I can produce. I'm still trying to figure things out and get a process down, so I'm not sure what kind of things I can offer anyone else other than to say...

    Finally ready for another listen!

I submited a first mix and got clobbered here. Well, I've remixed the song and had someone much more tallented than myself lay down the vocal tracks. Unfortunately, the vocals had to be added in over top of the song instead of actually being a part of the mix. This is an alt. contry song. Lets...

What do I need to connect electronic drums to PC ?

I just got done my first recording using my yamaha electric kit. Like the post says above, all of the triggers go into the drum module. I dunno about the Rolands, but mine has a right and left channel out of the module. I customized a kit to where the drums came out of the left channel and the...

    john frusciante- ridiculous

IMO, Frusciante is all about timing and knowing his place in the music. With such an active rhythm section, it would be real easy to overplay...but instead, he sits right back in the groove and lets it breathe.

    What's limiting YOUR recordings??

It's definately me! IMO, to have a great recording, you need a great performance, ability to really capture the performance, and the knowledge to bring everything together in the end. Great performance and me don't know each other....and I pretty much guess at everything afterwards.

    boss br9oocd virgin

I dunno if it's interesting, but I use a strat with the middle pick-up selected when recording using the acoustic modeling. It's not perfect, but does the job once it's in the mix. I have a BR-600 and the best advice I can give is to get 'the sound' that you're after during the take. Then just...

    Guitar amp poll

It's hard to name a favorite amp, but I went with vox. I love clean AC30 tones.
