It's basically impossible to do without slicing a pretty wide swath out of the frequencies in the song. The easier, much faster alternative is to pull up iTunes, type in "(song name) karaoke" or "(song name) instrumental" and then knock yourself out. Usually if it's a well-known song there...

Usually with low budgets I'd recommend buying a nicer, used mic in order to get maximum bang for your buck. There a lot of variance quality-wise in the $100-$500 range so with $200 you might be able to land slightly higher on the graph.
