Put me down for the Macbook as well. I was working with a PC for a long time and found I always had to fight with it to get it to do what I want, had a Mac for two years, not one problem yet. Garageband is decent if you're penny pinching so if you don't have a DAW it comes standard with Mac's.

I re-read your post and you said "good, bad..." so I thought I'd mention to change up the drums a little. I really like the sound you're getting out of your guitar tracks but the drums feel just "there", not bad but not special. Mind you, like I said before I don't really listen to metal...

I'm not big into metal but I liked it (especially bitter), but as you can see I'm a noob here so my opinion's not worth much.

How about reversing the order, Studio Lucid? Sort of sounds like a club, but that may be a good thing depending on your genre. Other than that you could try a foreign language, kind of cheesy but at least you're less likely to have someone else claim they had the name first.

I have a couple different sets of headphones and I've noticed they all sound extremely different. Any recommendations on an affordable set that might give me the "truest" sound. They don't need to be sealed so any style will do. Thanks
