WTF???? I'll wager that you owe Jimmy for every note you play on the guitar. Have you listened to his other stuff even? Listen to the live recording of Machine Gun live. That dude could do more with one note than most popular guitarists do with 50. Not to mention his innovations in the studio...
This is probably an ignorant comment, but does anyone actually buy or know anyone who would buy a "worn"guitar. I personally think its the stupidest fad in guitar manufacturing, but maybe that is just me.

Its not that I totally hate Angus Young, just most of his little pentatonic noodling. I dig AC/DC but you would think after playing so long he'd kinda progress a bit,but it all sounds the same to me...boring.
Nah, thanks for thinking that up. Waffleness, you seem to have a better understanding of this than I do, increasing the resistance would improve "tone" then if you could increase it by a marginal amount? If I remember correctly a higher resistance results in more power(wattage) but would lower...
Just curious, were they priced competitively, or even cheaper than the norm? I don't play GHS (elixers for me) so I never really payed attention at the time.
I remember noticing a couple years back that they were selling GHS boomers for 6 string. I think I saw the Zakk Wilde set in particular and thought that no one is going to buy these from Wallmart, and I guess I was right for once.
That's an interesting question, in terms of bringing physics into the argument, but I don't think it would increase the "realism" of the amp simulators if that's what you are getting at. I suppose if PRS said it it must have some logic but I can't honestly say that I notice a difference when...
I voted underneath my chin, because its pretty far up there. I play more jazz than anything live so it doesn't relle matter how cool I look, but at home when I play other shit I leave it there just so I can reach stuff easier.
Assuming you are wanting to record digitally you will need a pc, interface, DAW (recording software), mics, cables, monitors, and lots of good literature to read up on. I would start out doing both of these:
1. Check the website of the college or tech school you are wishing to attend and see if...
I was seriously considering the Line 6 Podx3 a while back, largely based on alot of recommendations I had heard on this board. Eventually I decided to just upgrade some pedals and by a bigger board, lol. Your needs do sound a bit more extensive than mine, but as far as offering the most features...
hmmm.... well very cool. I'm in the process of selling the only halfstack I have left though, so I guess I won't really be needing one of these, but I wish I had one before.
Yeah dude, I'll show ya cuz your new, he's posting in the Reaper forum, so it's reaper not PT. But, I'll vouch for ya and say that if it were PT your advice is 100% correct!
