Many thanks, Rob! Can you record the silence with Zoom H6 alone at different levels of gain without any mic and then do the same thing with 416?
In this way, I will able to understand hopefully with my Zoom is ok, and not defective one, and how it will perform with 416.
Robust, small, water resistan (it is humid where I live), etc. I can use it for my online meditations without having it in the shoot, can record with it outside, so it is pretty much universal.
I read it again and I think you meant that it is not my hardware that is guilty of noise, but my voice over techniques or/and the space where I record.
I saw this review about Zoom F6 with 32 bit float and it really impressed me.
Thank you, Dave! I did not understand much, but thank you anyway! :-)
(What I understood is that my space itself can create noise, but if I record at 4 a.m., and it seems absolutely silent, or there can be noise that I cannot perceive with my ears?)
How can I understand if my Deity S-mic 2 is...
Thank you very much! As I understood, 32 bit float allows me to record at very low gain level and then boost it without boosting noise. Maybe, I understood something wrong.
Do you think this one is worth of buying?

Am I right that it does not have 32 bit float? I really liked this feature in Zoom F6 while watching the review of it...
I cannot test anything here, no mics, no interfaces, that is why everything is so bad. I have to bring it, test it, and then try to sell it if it is not suitable. I live in Ecuador. But I will figure it out! Thank you, guys, a lot!!!
Yes, I know him. Just yesterday I saw his video with Rode Ai-1 interface and Zoom H5 comparison.
I liked this bundle:

Thanks for your comments! I use normalized -0,1bd to work with the recording (so I can hear everything), then I use "match loudness" and set it for -19db LUFS. This is what I heard you need for youtube and other places in the Internet.
What about Rode AI-1 or Focusrite Scarlett Solo?
I only...
Thanks, TalismanRich! It seems that it is the mic. :( or both, as you said, but principally the mic.

It is normalized to -0,1 in Abobe Audition, but the rest is untouched. (I could not find...
Thanks, TalismanRich! I record to SD card in Zoom H6 and then use Adobe Audition CC to process the file. I usually use the DeNoise option, and with 10-20% I will get the noise removed. If I use more than 20%, the voice get slightly distorted.
In your sample, I cannot hear any noise, but the...
I sent the sample to Zoom. Their answer was:
"
Hello,
Thank you for the audio sample.
It is possible that the noise being heard is the expected pre-amp noise floor of the device.
Is this noise as prevalent when using another microphone with the H6?"
