I've been searching and reading everything I can find on all of these mics over the past couple of weeks, but I'm still not sure which way to go on this. I've found all of these in pairs for about the same price 199 - 229.....which is at the high end of my buget for 2 mics in this application...

I was looking into the MXL 603s's, and see where new they are like 89 bucks, but a matched pair is like 270.00 Could one get by just buying 2 "un-matched" ones, or does this present a problem of some sort? If there would be a problem, could someone expain this? Thanks, Rick
