is there anything needed to boost the intrument signal or maybe the mix cus im pretty much going direct and digital into my computer line in (behringer mixer sm57 pandora box)
when i listen to an album it just sounds like every intrument is pushed into the speakers and every intrument is clearer...
ok..basically wanna have kick drum on track 1 snare on track 2 etc if possible..for reasons of eq and rev.i have it going from L/R outputs through my mixer to stereo track..it has individual outputs not sure how that works..would i need midi sequencing..its a docter rythm Dmachine..would i need...
hard to explain..when eqing compressing getting the good mix after hearing it back sounds good ear wise..then listining to a record..the record sounds like it has some kind of coating over it as if my mix is to noticable..like i said sounds good but i feel every record has this right eq sound...
i have recording mics going to my mixer then going to my nano compressor in stereo then stereo cable goes in mic input on the pc not sure if line in is better seems the same..do i need a preamp or anyother racks besides effects to get a good large sound..im happy with the sound good compression...
every thing sounds good..but for example when hearing bass it sounds thin in the mix as in an album its allittle thicker can this be becuase i don't have a preamp or better mics..i have regualar recording mics going into my behringer mixer with a stereo cable into my pc set on mono..i just need...
