So, I know what a radio mix is...like a cut down version of some sick jam.... BUT I heard once about MASTERING songs special for radio. Does that happen? Like supper shrill extra compression to come through better on FM... or something? Ed -Im curious especially what you know about this. xoxoxo

I always wanted to do that, but found that I couldn'r. Until I got some outboard effects and a digital mixer. BUT before, I would make a new trak with heavy to 100% effect, then mousemix that in, and that worked pretty good.

OK, So I recorded in 48000, and Im pretty done with a track so I resample it to 44100, and when I play it on my computer.. it sounds sped up, like im on helium. BUT! when I burn those same tracks to disc, they're fine. Also, when the helium is on, the seconds tick by a touch too fast. What the...

For some reason.. I cant convert some 16bit 48000 files to 16/44100 without any pitch shifting going on. Ive tried "open AS" as well as "convert sample type". Everything is screwy... Help!! xoxoxo

Suppose I converted a bunch of tracks from 16bit 48khz UP to 32-bit. Would it improve the sound, degrade the sound, or do nothing..? xoxo cameron
