I think not. Soft synth problems with latency, particularly with soft synth drum program. Posted this question in keyboard section, no answer so a far. Will USB midi keyboard controller reduce soft synth latency as compared to controlling soft synth through Miditimpiece AV with workstation keyboard.

The last question was a bit unclear. I am asking for information on how to reduce latency from the midi controller. Specifically, would a USB keyboard controller have less latency on a soft-synth than a regular midi keyboard controller connected through a midi patchbay, i.e. Midi Timepiece AV.
