i've read some messages about tracks on 8-track analog recorders bleeding into one another.
anyone have a similar experience?
should i just stick to a 4-track and use an outside mixer (for drums, for instance)?
Please excuse my lack of knowledge here...
What extra stuff would I need to send my analog mix (from a tascam 424, 488, etc. to a CDR?
- mixing software?
- adaptors?
- soundcard?

I'm searching for 4tracks on ebay -- just pricing for now -- and noticed 464s selling cheaper than 424 MKIIs. Do they make 464 anymore? What was the original difference between the two?
Also, what are the differences b/t the 424 MK2 and the MK3 besides the stereo channels having EQ?
