here is my problem-in my situation powered monitors would be good 'cause I would not need an amp.:)but then I can not use headphones 'cause my soundcard does not have headphone input:rolleyes: but if I get 'passive' monitors,I will need an amp! which is also good because then there is somewhere...

I went to email a wave file to someone. only about 30 seconds long and my gosh it was 15 mega bytes long so I pressed cancel.Wich program do I need to convert to something more compressed.to suit windows media player or real player or whatever?????:(

I was given a couple of programs ages ago and did not back them up the right way...I have them on disk but no setup.exe..so I sent them to my documents..and although they don't appear in program files ,,they seem to run quite well..is this ok to run them from my documents or is it a NO NO..:eek:

In cool edit pro I can record a mixed down cd from the cd rom drive and add extra tracks to it in multi track.very handy if you record elsewhere and decide you want to add to it. I don't think logic can do this unless I plug in an external cd player..What other software can?
