what exactly is midi???i know it is a better way to record than just using your mic and line in inputs but what does it do different?? i just bought a digitech vx400 vocal proccessor pedal for my home recording studio and it goes throguh usb port......which it says is midi. i am using cubase...

hi i have cubase 2.0 sx on my computer and have been recording for while but i was just wondering..............when i record i get a very very faint airy noise........its not super noticeable but you can hear it if you are paying attention.....i was just wondering if anyone new what this was...

I would like to know if there is a way (or an effect to use) to make the audio louder( so you dont have to crank the stereo to make it normal volume)?. its not that it sounds muffled or anything its just that it doesnt have that crisp clean punchy drums, bass, or guitar like professional...
