I just went to the website, it looks like MOTU has WDM drivers for Windows 2000 now as well as the other windows.

Does anybody know about the MOTU 1296? I'm wondering whether the preamps are going to be quality enough without a mixer. I sure would like to get somthing with 12 inputs but I can't afford a 1296 and a mixer.
