Anybody else bought a guitar for what it looks like?

I'm a real fan, truth be told. I have an Epiphone Casino with P90s. I didn't spend the extra $$$$ for the "John Lennon" white version. Hey, I don't need a beauty queen to have a good time 8-)

@jimistone I have an Epi LP that could be your guys twin! I dropped a couple of Seymour Duncan Phat Cats in it, and it sound like a dream. Beautiful guitar.

    DREAM STRAT

I have a neck from All Parts. I hate it. PITA! EDIT: It's unfinished (still!); I had to do a complete fret job: and I had to roll the edges. Not worth my time.

    HOW TO RELIEVE GAS?

I'm diggin the replies :ROFLMAO: A couple more and I will spill the tea. BTW: The story I read is not to be construed as truth. I thought it was interesting, and it made sense to me. But who the Hell am I?

    HOW TO RELIEVE GAS?

That is not the story I read. I don't believe everything I read, but this came from "Guitar World" magazine. FWIW

    HOW TO RELIEVE GAS?

It was my pleasure, indeed. I had an ear to ear smile the whole time "Wah Wah" was especially good given the topic. I enjoyed that very much. Thank you!

    HOW TO RELIEVE GAS?

One of the cool things about the Gibson, is that I'm a big fan of Epiphones, I have a bunch. I'll finally get a chance to compare the Epis to a Gibson.

I agree. I will also say that I went through your playlist on YT. It was time well spent! Very well spent. Thank you

    HOW TO RELIEVE GAS?

Ya know? I understand that. I have nowhere near 200. 15 is my best guess. And I would really like to pare down to "a few". But, when it comes time to select a sacrificial one, I just can't do it. I'm a terrible guitar player. Maybe it's imposter syndrome?

    NEW Guitar Project

Thanks. I needed one to go with the white one (Olympic white). As I recall, the neck came with the machines. Both my maple Strat necks have Fender machines. However, I prefer Grovers. I use those on al the "upgraded" guitars I have. And Seymour Duncans. This is my first foray into Lindy...

    HOW TO RELIEVE GAS?

I just bought a Gibson Les Paul Gold Top. For no reason. I feel like I'm in the Twilight Zone. Like William Shatner and the slot machine in the diner. How does anyone stop? Or is that a pipe dream?

    NEW Guitar Project

It is very pretty. And it plays very nicely. I don't remember who told me about the problems with a "6 point" bridge, but he was totally correct. THAT was a good days work on that bridge. What I considered was his suggestion to float the bridge, which I tried. Unfortunately, the trem arm that...

    NEW Guitar Project

FINALLY FINISHED!!! I started this in May, and I'm done July 1. I swear I will NEVER do this again. It's very nice, and I'm not unhappy. Not what I expected from Frailins, Extremely quacky, but I need to give it more time. Their "blended" bridge option is very interesting. The middle position is...

    DREAM STRAT

I checked that out. At 300$ is was a little rich for my blood. I have a Simmons eDrum set that I can use as triggers. I have Steven Slate 5.5 which is a useless as boobs on a bull. Good sounds but the interface needs a lot to be desired. I have an idea that might work. Really all I need right...
