Hi Guys, I have been looking all over Los Angeles for 99% alcohol to clean the heads on my Tascam 388 but can only find 91%. Will this work or should I hold out for the 99%? Also any idea what model of ha-d-mag I should buy for the 388? Thanks all. M.:listeningmusic:

Hi Guys, I have a friend that is offering to sell me an old Teac 702/703 with Tascam series 70 machine cheap. I mean $80! Do you guys know about these machines? Its 8 tracks to tape. He said the last time he used the machine (10 years ago) it worked. Any info on these? Thanks. M.

Hi All, This is my first post here. Been reading posts for a while. Really like the site! I am thinking about buying a Tascam 388 machine in the next few days. I've been working on the 244 for the last few years and like it but want to move up. The guy says it's in great working condition...
