Me and my band recorded a live CD and I edited it on my comp. However when I burn the CD's between tracks there is a inserted 2 second forced silence between tracks. Is there any way I can get it to a smooth transition(like real live CD's)? I tried burning at 1x rather than 4x already. =(
I want to convert 5 rooms of the upstairs of a house to a studio. I don't care if the sound goes upward or vertical, I just need a way to kill the sound from going downwards toward the rooms below. Any suggestions?
Went to Sam ASh and saw a good keyboard amp costs around $500. I decided to get an Optimus speaker and and 40 watt amp($275). Do you think that will be powerful enough?
PS: Bass in band is 200 watts.
Note: this is for jazz, rock, blues, ect...
I need to get a keyboard amp. Recently I just found out that nice keyboard amps at Sam Ash are around $500. I decided just to get an Optimus speaker and and amplifier. Do you think a 40 watt amp is good enough?

Me and my band want to convert 5 rooms of the upstairs of a house into a studio. Is there a way we can somehow prevent sound from seeping through the floor and going right to the rooms below? Perhaps making a false floor with sound insulation and dead air to kill the sound?
