I was reading the Electronic Musician's review of the Blue Tube...they said since the Blue Tube has two outputs (1/4 and mic) for each channel, you can split a signal going out of it. So, would this be possible. Could I plug the bass into the blue tube, send out the 1/4 output into his bass amp...

The other day I went out and got a blue tube. There was one thing I couldn't figure out. I have heard all about it's "tube-warmth distortion" for use with harmonicas, guitars... but how can you make a freaking harmonica distort with tube warmth when it destroys the signal going into my four...

The guys at guitar center told me they were supposed to do this...on my sm57s, the top of it where you sing into moves around, not too too much, but it is really easy to move around with your fingers. Is this normal??

I was thinking the other day if this was possible: I have a Tascam 414 four track, mics, instruments, behringer mixer, compressor, etc, but no computers involved. I was wondering if it was possible to record whatever tracks i wanted to on my four track, namely the raw tracks drums, bass, etc...

how would you externally bounce from a tascam 414 4 track to a minidisc with one little line in port back to the portastudio onto two tracks (stereo). thanks

ok let's say you have two tracks left on the portastudio. is it possible to overdub a lead guitar part with a mic'd amp and a room mic, and then assign the room mic onto the track you are recording the mic'd amp as well, so it would all go onto one track? does this work, and if it does work...
