I think that when your are mixing the idea is to get the mix as loud as possible without clipping right? Does that mean i should boost the master? because when i do , background noise becomes audible. any ideas?

Hi everyone, i was looking through some portable apps to put on my mp3 usb. I can use audacity and put it on so it runs from the usb. Does anyone know if its at all possible to install any program like adobe audition or cakewalk or reaper, to usb even if its not a portable app? thanks

Hi, I downloaded the adobe audition evaulation version, and was wondering if theres anything wrong with producing songs on a 30 day trial. It seems perfectly fine to me, but other may think differently. Any help?

Hi does anyone know how to convert a dat file to a wav? i recorded on my daw and then backed up the project and all the files are ".dat" and i want to put the tracks in cubase for easier mixing/mastering. does anyone know about a converter i could use?
