I can't get this to work. It shows all the inputst and what not in device set up but the board doesn't effect cubase in any way.

Whenever I export files it seems like the pan settings get screwed up. Is there a reason or this or is it all in my head?

I'm running cubase LE and it tells me this when I try to export into any format. This is the first time I've had the problem.

When I try to directly record an electric bass guitar with passive pick ups I get no signal. Do I need something to boost the signal to a detectable level, or am I doing something wrong?

Ok, go back about 2 months. I had just got an FW-1884 and I was recording a few things for my uncle. While he was recording stuff, he unplugged a mic cable from the mixer, and afterwords channel 2 (the one that was hot swapped) got very f'd up, and shorty thereafter detected no input at all. I...

http://media.putfile.com/Nobody-Knows-the-Trouble-Ive-Seen Tell me what you think. The recording was done with an MXL 603S through a FW-1884 on cubase LE. I also have a Studio Projects B1, but I didn't think it sounded as nice (also equally possible, I don't know how to use it properly).

So I have my DAW stuff all set up and it's interfacing properly. When I add tracks in Cubase they all control the sliders they corresponde with on the Tascam, but when I try to assign the tracks to different inputs (1-8) on the mixer, it only gives me the option of selecting between 1 and 2...

How do I export my projects in mp3 format (or anything that can be put on a cd) from Cubase LE?

What is everyone using this product with or what do youreccomend?

My tascam FW-1884 is arriving tomorrow and I'm looking forward to getting set up. Just HOW limited is LE?

I'm going to be recording both alto and tenor saxophone soon, and I was curious as to whether or not anyone has any microphones they feel work particularily well for doing so in the 200-400$ price range. Also, any techniques would be greatly appreciated.
