How many electric guitars does one really need to (fairly authentically) "cover the bases" - soundwise only?

I would imagine several, but I have no idea.

I don't know if I heard anything that sounded like a Les Paul to me, but everything sounded great. ? They clearly know their tone!

After just having said in my thread that I think one only needs four electric guitars to cover all the bases. ?

Interesting. I'm curious. What style/application do you need the P90s for? (They are, in fact, single coils.) And the Filtertrons?

?Hahaha When I purchased my Epi Les Paul Junior on Monday, I told my wife (knowing she'd not believe a word of it) "This is the last guitar I'll ever buy." ? You can get a Tele to sound like a Les Paul with single coils? Or does your Tele have a bucker?

"First Tracks", relief from the heat

Great playing and singing throughout! Mix-wise, I don't have any real nitpicks. I guess I maybe wanted to hear a little more excitement out of the snare for a song like this. But, that's about it. Nice job!

I have the Warm versions as well, along with the WA-273EQ (which I used on this as well). Love the Warm stuff. Actually, now that I think about it, I used the WA-14 mic on this as well. ?

Thanks! The vocals were printed with a bit of compression with my 76KT and KT2A chain. (I used that chain for everything, actually.) Then I used a plate reverb from T-Racks on everything. For the vocals it was pre-fader; everything else was post. Other than a bit of EQ, that was it.
