My VLZ 24.4 mixer has an interesting occurence...... All the channel faders except for channel one have little clicks when you slide them. they almost sound like detent clicks except they don't seem to be at regular intervals. So either there's a problem with channels 2-24 or channel one lost...

I plugged a condensor through my Presonus Comp16 and got nothing but a kid of fuzz and hiss. The compressor was at its lowest settings. As I turned the settings up the hiss got louder. Mic worked just fine with the comp removed from the chain. any ideas? Just a defective comp?
