Well first of all I am using the Lexicon Lambda. I was wondering if the sm57 is good to record an amp. Its a dynamic mic and i hear condenser mics are better.

I used a logitech usb mic and Mixcraft to record. I tried my hardest to eq it but i suck at it. Anyone know what the bands should be at? Oh and its Fade to Black and testosterone, the others are my friends. www.purevolume.com/pst

Well its great as far as clear and crisp recording but my tone sucks. Im hooking up a Digitech rp300 from the left output into line 1 of the Lexicon but it comes out so shitty. Too muddy. So i was wondering if i should attempt in buying a the sm57 and seeing how micing the pedal with the amp...
