hello :D
as i posted in my thread here:
https://homerecording.com/bbs/showthread.php?t=276811
i am apparently going to do this replacement sooner than later. not only that, i think it would be beneficial to learn this "art" a bit more -- that is, being able to read schematics, replace stuff...
hello :)
this is the ONLY modification i plan to do to my ACMP73 because it seems to just be soldering. And i can "kinda" do soldering.
however, i am certainly a newb with it, so if anyone could help with a detailed, "for dummies" explanation of this, i would REALLY appreciate it.
first off...
irritation? considered harm? I think you might need to learn the art of ignoring someone when they seem to bother you. Or at least lighten up.
a mod could easily move it over, forums im from its a somewhat common thing for people to mistakenly put threads in the wrong place. Has he posted...

Im getting a pod x3 live, so this will become redundant. Although i dont like the idea of having to plug in my live rig everytime i want to use a plugin, i need to save money where i can.

a different thread made me think about this --
i estimate the value of what i have to be 10k -- now this is peanuts for a projects studio, but what do i do to insure it? I dont want to get business insurance, as i am in college, and probably not going to make enough to justify it.
what...
starting at 150 now...
I would have edited my old thread and the title, but i couldnt figure out how

I use an RE20, i5, Studio projects C1, LSD2, mxl 603S --
will this preamp do better than my firepod's preamps?
Im doing tests to verify this, but i need to make sure this preamp is good...
some thoughts on the mix?
I used BFD for the drums, stock sounds, an Alverez acoustic, and an ibanez 5 string bass.
and hello btw, looking to get some constructive critique here! -- mix, vocals, anything, tear it apart! -- im doing covers for now to prepare for when i get a REAL computer...
