Okay, I have this great idea that I just havent tried yet because I'm to lazy--- Record a vocal section how you want it and flip the tape to play it backwards (cassette only, obviously). Then write down what the backward stuff sounds like, and re-record your vocals on the "backwards" side of...

I noticed my bass head has an XLR out on it. Would it be a good idea to record my bass using this? Or would the high power coming form the amp blow up my recorder? If so, then what is the porpuse of the XLR out? I usually just plug the bass directly in... -Nilbog
