Hey, probably a really stupid question, but, if you're recording straight through an audio interface, preamps, etc to your computer, why is it that room acoustics matter so much....don't you just put on your headphones and listen (meaning no sound is being emitted to the room).
So I've been reading a lot of websites saying that a crucial element in the recording chain is the DA/AD converter. Why couldn't you just go through the audio interface...doesn't that do the same job?.... From what I understand so far the signal is as follows...
A little confusion here. Why would someone opt for the midi controller as opposed to the keyboard? Is it just the price difference? Otherwise, it seems to me you can do everything on the keyboard that you would on the controller plus a hell of a lot more.
