    Legendary low strings spitfire

Yes I was thinking that recently . Presume it's really a kind of sample loop. in terms of the bowing that's where these legato can sound a bit less than organic . Yes agreed you have to feel your way out of it a bit . Challenging

Hi I don't know how to run these kind of tests . Looks like I'm under minimum spec as stated by spitfire even on their entry level libraries. If a computer is set up to go I can use it otherwise I'm virtually computer illiterate

Great will do . Many thanks . I'm using cubase elements ai 12 . Spicatto isn't really responsive enough on latency for a fast tight repeated attack I've also come across latency on vst pianos particularly. Sort of like trying to negotiate a keyboard via a can of soup . Very strange experience...

It crackles on fast repeats. I find turning the library reverb to zero helps a bit . But basically it just can't handle the information the CPU is too underpowered. The controller is a Yamaha modx it's connected via a usb 2.0 cable

    Better laptop

Many thanks I'll try figure out how to do that . I suspect though it's the processor that simply can't keep up with fast spicatto repeats . By today's standards the laptop would be considered generally underpowered for vst

    Legendary low strings spitfire

Many thanks will do . What ive found generally is legatos of library's sound switchy in demos . I think Spitfire may have ironed this out a bit in a later generation ie apattionata strings . Thinking about it if you play faster than a single sampled complete bow stroke of the sample it's going...

    Spitifre chamber essentials

Seen many demos of this recently . Legato sounds like it's switching around but otherwise the texture and dynamics overall sound good . Anyone who can confirm or deny getting relatively smooth legato from this library ?

    Better laptop

The laptop was basically uncluttered by anything . It was dedicated to spitfire original libraries at about 3gb file size . Maybe a total of 30gb in libraries .Was never even connected to the internet with the exception of downloading a library .It was ok until fast repeats spiccato . Spec wise...

Hi . Finding quick spicatto strings from a spitfire library is really crunching the CPU. Can't really handle it . Currently have an hp elite SSD possibly 500gb and 16gb ram . Decent second hand recommendations?
