I need a simple stage piano. It's down to those two. I get the impression teh Casio PX-100 Privia has better action? And I've heard it only has a headphone out. I can convert it to 1/4" then run it through a pre then into a pa right? Is the prokeys 88sx action really that bad? People say it isnt...
My name's "Ollerton." I'm a solo artist, it's my last name. MY question is: What if someone already has the name trademarked or something? I did a search at the official trademark site and nothing came up.....but still....I don't want to come out with an album just to run into trouble.
The outside tolex is in hooorrible condition. Worse than you can POSSIBLY IMAGINE~!
The 2 lowest tines are broken. These are easily bought for about 40 bucks for both if not less. A couple of the highest notes sound funky. I may be able to fix that myself. I've already put like 10 hours...

Does anyone else here trust how their song sounds in their car stereo more then played anywhere else? Whenever I change something in my mix, I render it to WAV, burn it into a cd and go out to my car and listen to it. I don't contemplate wether or not it sounds good until I hear it in my car :D
I've got a record player that I had running into active monitors, but the turntalbe output was too weak for the monitors to amplify decently. So today I hooked up an amp between the turntable and amplified speakers. Is this ok to do this? To amplify at two different stages?
so all (at least most) websites get automatically put on google. My website is ollertonmusic.com. To find it on google, you have to type in "ollerton music". It doesn't come up if I just type in Ollerton, and that's what I'm hoping for. Does anyone know how to be the first thing that pops up...
Ventura electric guitar. Tone knobs are suprisingly responsive. Hollow body. Has 2 volume knobs, I'm pretty sure they are for the 2 seperate pickups! Pretty cool huh?!
A little bit ago I was going to sell this thing for like over 300 bucks, but I've tested it out more extensively and have...
Yep.....pretty much summed it all up in the title.....works great, just tried it out yesterday. 95 dollars free shipping! Hope you like my picture of it, I'm pretty proud of it
Vintage Ventura guitar for sale!
Don't have much info on it.....Made in Japan in the mid 70's.
There are two things about this guitar that I like:
1. The tone knobs are really responsive
2. 2 volume knobs! I think each pickup has it's own volume controll! ISN'T THAT COOL?! I sure think...
Ok, so I have a basic yet still very weak handle on compression now. I was able to smooth out vocals a little bit. That was exiting!
Then I tried compressing and limiting the song as a whole and it royaly messed it up. Now not only is it not any stronger sounding volumewise, but it just sounds...
and I need to know which to get. I WISH they would make a good sounding digital piano that was portable, sounded good, had hammer action, and was JUST A PIANO. Why do they all have to be so complicated? The idea of a simplistic digital piano sounds like SUCH a good idea!
Anyways, seing I...
Check out the songs in my link. Even though ANYTHING on myspace sounds like crap, you can tell they aren't mastered. I don't know how really and I think this is proabibly one of those things I should leave up to a pro? How much did it cost YOU to get your album mastered? Are there any good...
Most of the stuff I write and record don't call for electric guitar, especially distortion. Mostly accoustic guitar and piano and vocals. Sometimes accordion! The only time I've recorded electric guitar was in the song Life is But a Dream. It's in my sig. I used the TS a little. It works...
DMP3: Sold!
703 pannels: Sold!
SM57: I don't have a picture of this. It's in perfect condition. There's no need to post a picture of a 57, we all know what they look like :D IT of course works perfect. I'm selling one out of two because I use my hamburgs for most of my recording.
Price...
because this has nothing to do with anything analog! In fact, this has to do with songs done on my pc......
I know this isn't the official place to do this kind of thing, but I hope this is ok.....I'm not trying to get a bunch of publicity or anything, but I wanted to show all the people that...
this doesn't really fit into any forum......
but quick copyright question: When you send in your RS or PA form with the fee (now 45 bucks! It was just 30 a few months ago......) you also send in a burnt cd with the work being registered. But don't burnt cd's only have a shelf life from 3-7...
But don't think this topic fits in well with any forum....so here's the question:
When copyrighting a song, should one use a Sound Recording form or a Performing Art form? In the past I've always used a SR form, but what do you think is the best? I don't really care if people play my stuff...
