Does anyone else here trust how their song sounds in their car stereo more then played anywhere else? Whenever I change something in my mix, I render it to WAV, burn it into a cd and go out to my car and listen to it. I don't contemplate wether or not it sounds good until I hear it in my car :D

I've got a record player that I had running into active monitors, but the turntalbe output was too weak for the monitors to amplify decently. So today I hooked up an amp between the turntable and amplified speakers. Is this ok to do this? To amplify at two different stages?

this doesn't really fit into any forum...... but quick copyright question: When you send in your RS or PA form with the fee (now 45 bucks! It was just 30 a few months ago......) you also send in a burnt cd with the work being registered. But don't burnt cd's only have a shelf life from 3-7...

But don't think this topic fits in well with any forum....so here's the question: When copyrighting a song, should one use a Sound Recording form or a Performing Art form? In the past I've always used a SR form, but what do you think is the best? I don't really care if people play my stuff...
