Thanks to the glorius info. here; I just bought the 424 MKII. What a difference from the 414! Heads are like new, cleaned and demagged anyway. Thanks again guys for the info.! I'll try to find the manual online. Thinking about using that to mix to the 414, then to r to r. Everything works...

Hi, all, just found this forum, looks good. I am going back to analog recording after 2 yr.s of digital, using my Roland VS 880 EX. That damn thing is for sale. Either I just don't get digital; or else it's just too complicated. Been recording using cassettes and several RtoR's for over 40 yrs...
