A song about Ice Cold Beer (*UPDATED*) (upbeat acoustic groove)

Yep catchy tune for sure. Sounded pretty well behaved on earbuds. You should flick it through to the Budweiser marketing dept. Although they would probably ask what is this 'beer' you sing about :D?

New Honey Hunters - 18, Emilie

On earbuds the vocal is sitting well. Cool tune

    Drop Dead D

You know you're absolutely right. If I could get Siouxsie or Chrissie Hynde. ..or Suzy Quatro to do a vocal, this would be a smash :D

    New Song: Midas Into Gold

Yeh good composition. Squeeze were a great band. This doesn't remind me of them though, this is quite original

    Is the Mix Muddy?

I wouldn't call the mix muddy, it's just more prominent in the lower register. I like the vocals. Overall balance is good too. Nice job

Drama In Andromeda (or, how I lost my llama)

Llama drama, nice! :D A violin is not what immediately springs to mind (or a cello) but the sounds are good. Bass tone is nice and toppy

    Drop Dead D

Yah you're right about the drums. Problem is I only tracked less than 2 minutes of drums. But I can add some sonic variation to make the monotony less obvious. Thanks for the feedback on the guitar levels too

"On Your Way", new melodic rock original

" Sorry, this track or album is not available" ?

    Drop Dead D

This one started as a drum sound check and morphed into a Drop D jam. How's the bass level and overall balance? No vocal yet, if anyone has anything to suggest I'm all ears :)

    Distortion

Thanks for the spins guys. Looks like all that distortion didn't die in vain! :D

Just for the hell of it Misfits cover- Where Eagles Dare

Heh that's funny. I heard it a couple of weeks ago on a road trip, first time in years. I was admiring the snare sound, you did a real good job the drums and guitars, and the mix has a nice clarity to it

    Alright! Good on you

    Distortion

Thanks Trip. Yeah the width, I'll have to check that

    Distortion

Yes actually I will try that, might be enough to drag it closer to the mainstream

    Distortion

Hey thanks for the +ve feedback. A lot comes down to personal taste. You'd probably be quite happy to listen to it again whereas if TalismanRich never heard it again it would be too soon :D

    Distortion

Yeah it's obviously very subjective what we find acceptable vs offensive. We do become accustomed to certain sonic styles. I don't like autotune but I'm certainly used to hearing it. Flabby is a good word and I would argue that flabby has its place. Although maybe not on this track :D

    Distortion

You know now that you mention Dogman, you're quite right
  18. B

    Distortion

A mistake... or a happy accident? :D Yeah there's also a lot of smeary delay in there which doesn't help the clarity. I always remember being hugely impressed with the distorted drums on Foreigner's Head Games and Bowie's Low. But yeah the distortion on the drums on those albums never extended...

    The Mower (revisited)

Guitar tones are great, remind me a little of early Sabbath. The vocals sound good but I'm not gone on the melody. Screaming lead break very cool

    No Escape

Has nice warm tones. The AI vocals are interesting, very human-like and natural sounding
