For some reason when i change from slip to grid, its set to 1 bar resolution, i want to be able to change the grid so it snaps to quarter or eighth note, can't find the setting and its driving me nutz many thanks

When i select a loop in pro tools and play it, then i hit stop i lose the loop region i created. Is there any setting i can change so that i can hit stop and not lose the loop? At the moment i just use alt shift f3 to create a new region, and then undo it to mess around with other loops.
