Hi all. Just re-strung my new strat and now the bridge is at about a 20 degree angle to the body. I know this has something to do with the trem but it seems it was seated closer to the body before I restrung. Is it a problem?

Got my first Strat on Thursday, American Standard, Charcoal Frost. The pic really doesn't do it justice. The arch-top is 32-20 Blues' Godin 5th Avenue Kingpin, I posted a pic because he hasn't been around in a while. Both pretty rockin methinks :)

Do Fender do an American Standard with a natural finish? Can't see it on their site but it seems silly not to have a basic natural finish before they start rolling out candy apple reds, blizzard pearls etc.

What's an acceptable action for a 12 string acoustic? I know the strings will never be as low as on a standard acoustic but I'm guessing that 5 -6mm on the bass side at the twelvth is a bit much? It's not comfortable to play.

There was an article in either Guitarist or Guitar Buyer that featured a tour of the Gibson factory and it was suggested that in the next ten years Mahogany would be considered endangered like Brazillian Rosewood is now (though perhaps not to the same degree). Your thoughts?

Okay, so this is more of an arrangement question...but can I get away 1/16th strikes on a Jam Block without it sounding metronomic? I'd like it to sound like part of the arrangement, not like some fuzzy metronome in the background. Sorry if this is a bit vague.
