Literally every interface on the market today is fine to use with guitar (even your original interface I suspect, though I have no idea what actual PreSonus Interface you have). If you wanted something "guitar specific" I would have gone with the https://www.ikmultimedia.com/products/axeio/ not...
Sorry to resurrect this thread... but since I just grabbed a DP-008EX recently, I'm glad to have come across this post, @spantini. I was worried when I saw the posts before this suggesting that you couldn't use TS/XLR sources at the same time which would have been terribly inconvenient. Though...
I think the biggest problem with having to have some online account with Windows 11, is that MS keeps expecting you to sign-in to the account with your email and password over and over again. I had bought an HP Laptop for my son for Xmas this year, and tried to set it up... but it wouldn't let...
Drag both guitar tracks into the "Folder" of the Chorus track. However you'll really want to record the guitar track twice, not just duplicate the track and pan them... that's pointless and all you're doing is making the Mono track louder.
Stereo Chorus FX
- Guitar 1
- Guitar 2
Or just add the...
MIDI Thru (a copy of MIDI In) just allows you to daisy chain multiple MIDI instruments to 1 MIDI source. If all of your MIDI instruments are set to Channel 1 and your MIDI signal is sending MIDI to Channel 1, they'll all play the same notes. However as stated you can send up to 16 Channels of...
If anyone wants to send me a 4-track cassette recorder... I'm willing to test the "dark side". Or is "Digital" the "dark side"? Either way... show me the light. ;)
I don't know anything about a "presonus firestudio" however I recently upgraded to a Behringer UMC 1820 (8 inputs/up to 18 & 10 outputs/up to 20) which is itself a USB 2.0 interface and I love it. Using it in conjunction with my patchbay is great as I don't have to re-route any...
I've used these for the past... 5 years. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B076VVP6CX/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 they came with 3 different filters (I use the Red/Middle filter) but I'm sure there are others like this out there. Definitely protect yourself, like @TAE says...
Yeah, I'd go with a MIDI foot controller myself as it's not strictly limited to your specific Audio Interface. I personally use a footswitch that is connected to my Nektar Panorama P1 mixer as my Record button.
Good luck. ReValver has gone through MKIII as well as the newer v4 and gone through like 2 different company changes since then. :|
Edit: So I did find this! http://web.archive.org/web/20080613183558/http://www.alienconnections.com/display_eula.htm?file=binaries/revalvermkii.zip
However, I...
Note: These Line 6 Amp Sim Suites usually go on sale multiple times throughout the year... if you missed it this recent sale from Black Friday... it'll probably happen again shortly after the New Year. Also note that with this particular Ampeg Suite, as well as the Metalurgy Suites... these...
Sort of 10'x10'... I should say that the actual basement is larger than 10'x10' but I've basically enclosed myself with 10'x10' "walls" of wire rack shelving holding all of my equipment.
I love the new face up sidecar... very slick! As well as the new corner sofa chair instead of the old chair. I see you've removed the black wire shelves (which is pretty much what my basement studio is made of) to make some better (interior decorating/style) shelf space with room for the sidecar...
So my Win10 Laptop still kinda sucks... but I was able to get around the terrible disk/cpu issues of Microsoft Defender by installing another (any other) light weight anti-virus software. And while I maintain that Win7 was 100x better than Win10 is... I'll be installing a Fresh Win10 SSD in my...
