I've been looking at the Track Master or the Penta Pre for my next purchase. It seems both have a lot of features. Both can work as a mic pre or line in w/ compression, etc. Anybody ever use this stuff? Any opinions, comments, reviews would be helpful.

A friend has been lending me his AT4033. I think it's great on vocals and some other instruments I recorded. Now the 4033 has been replaced by the 4040. Anyone use both and what is the difference you hear. I see some old stock 4033's going for about the same as a new 4040. Thanks
