Currently i have an echo indigo, dmp3 and a dod r825 compressor (shameless dbx163 copy i hear). Would the apogee best the current setup?
Also, do de-esser plugins perform as well as an external?

Is there an easier way than recording stereo, mixing down to .wav stereo split
then import left and right channels? Also, does this degrade the quality?
