Im running SX3 and I am just hearing about reaper now. Im using a firepod. I have a few questions. When I am doing remote stuff with my firepod and p4 3.6ghz 1gb ram laptop, i get pops and clicks with Cubase unless Im running 20ms of latency... Would Reaper be lighter on my system resources...

Everytime I hit my bass drum I get a bunch of snare rattle. Can anyone give me some helpful hints? the drum is properly tuned. I heard of some kind of special snareband that floats to avoid excess resinense. Any ideas?
