Question for all you obscure Marshall Amp gurus

I'm trying to find an amp for a buddy of mine. He says marshall made a small combo amp - probably 2 12" Celestions - that was all tube, but was stereo. He wants to run his stereo effects into one. I can't seem to find such an animal. Anybody know what model the amp he is thinking of is?

    John Hardy Questions

Can anyone explain the differences between the M-1/M-2 and 990 servo pre's? (soundwise, I know the difference component wise) Also, on the JH site, they say that they are not quite as clean and transparent as the MP-2NV. I was under the impression that the GR was fairly colored while the JH...

    Music Theory question

Can somebody recommend a Music Theory Primer? I play by ear, and as I get more into recording, I am realizing that I need to know the scales, keys, etc. by name. I'm sure it will help my playing as well. Thanks.
