    Diffuser building question

A diffuser is anything that smashes the sound waves up and also may send them in all different directions. A common one used is perforated plywood/hardboard/mdf. (hundreds/thousands of holes punched in board material). Common as commonly used, but try and buy some. In small amounts forget...

Acoustic Treatment Necessary with Vocoded Vocals?

It would depend on what other noises are being recorded or picked up by the microphone. Does it sound like you are in a toilet? Can you hear traffic, dogs barking, birds singing or other noise? If so it may depend on how much you can get away with.

    Recording vocals in stereo?

If you use Reaper it will render in stereo or mono just by clicking the box. Try it. But for a single voice or instrument I don't see the point.

    Isley Brothers Cover

The track is instantly recognisable because of his guitar.

    Isley Brothers Cover

The outstanding feature of that track is the sexy searching lead guitar. If you think it isnt worth putting in or hiding behind everything else, work away.

It may meet minimum requirements but have you taken into account your DAW running at the same time and anything else? Maybe run it all and check your processor usage to see if is near maximum.

Any Trick to reduce wind noise in iso booth?

If the booth had extraction and an inlet both silenced there wouldnt be a pressure difference on opening the door.

Any Trick to reduce wind noise in iso booth?

I only have the Rode ones Dave. They are ok, but strong gusts of wind can still be heard. The Rycote are supposed to be better, but I think there is a limit.

Any Trick to reduce wind noise in iso booth?

I don't know of any course. But what I can gather is that those kind of people just get out there with the best they can afford and experiment and record. Some sell their recordings directly or turn them into meditation stuff. I have recorded some myself in the summer and plan to do more. I...

Any Trick to reduce wind noise in iso booth?

Sorry for the bad news but I have been down a very similar road. To get you started. Well the truth is if you want to produce quality recordings you need quality gear. You preferably want to record that in stereo so you need a stereo mic and stereo recorder...........equals biggish money...

Any Trick to reduce wind noise in iso booth?

It's very easy actually. It's called money and lots of it. If you are going to record in situations like that where any wind at all even the slightest breeze will make noises on your microphone. You must first find out how to proceed and get the correct equipment. You will need a high...

    Headphone recommendations

We are used to 25 or 30 frames per second. That is all we can consciously see with our eyes and no more. But we can actually see even more frames per second sub consciously. Its a deep conversation that delves into non related stuff:oops::oops:. The majority of people wouldn't even notice...

    Headphone recommendations

So you are doing exactly what I said except for some reason you are having your cameras trained on a drum stick for a short time. Then having to reposition/focus them. Instead of just standing in front of your subject matter where the cameras should be pointing and clapping your hands...
