hey...i jus tried recording a vocal track with the oktava mk 012-01's....it sounds nice and clear (my first condensor). i' was using a pop filter with it...but i'm still getting some pops. its not that bad...but how can i stop it? or is it just because i shouldnt be using it for vocals? or...
what should the recording levels be at before recording? i'm using sonar...should i not be seeing any red at all? so around -6 or -3db? then after that, then how do i get them louder? do i normalize them? thanks

for now, i'm recording with 4 mics on the drums...2 overheads, snare, and a bass. am i supposed to pan the 2 overheads hard left and right? but whenever i do that...the snare seems to have too much of a chorus on it. also, what do i do with the snare?
