There's nothing "WRONG" with the mixes. The songs still put across the vibe you're trying to get across. There are a few little things that might make them better, though. For me, the biggest thing is that you seem to have treated the drums as an afterthought. Same beat all the way though, weak...

I'm not going to comment on the mixes because I care more about how songs make me feel, as opposed to the technical aspects. I will say that I love the vibe in all these songs. Genuinely happy music. I love it. Who's singing?

Exactly that. it's only as complicated as you want to make it. It's so customizable that you can do almost anything with it. I've been using it for about 10 years and I'm sure I haven't even touched 5% of what it can do.

Phantom power doesn't affect or damage dynamic mics, hence "phantom". It's the opposite of a cop. It's there if you need it and it's not there if you don't. :D Maybe there are very rare exceptions. But generally, I wouldn't worry about it at all. I have a TASCAM US-1800, which has the blocks...
