    Fender Classic Player Jaguar

I think the player series are great guitars. I think the American Fenders are great guitars too. I know if you buy used that you would have no problem getting your money back out of either one. I used to be in direct sales and helped people make buying decisions. So, first you have to decide...

Little Blues - Long Lost Friend (colab)

It sounds good man. Nice guitar biting tone and great blues groove! Only suggestion I have is this... The vocal and the guitar both have a lot of bite, like maybe in the 3K to 4K range. The vocal is stepping on the guitar and vice versa. So, you could try EQ cut, on the vocal, in the 3K to 4K...

    Head of the Company

Great song! I thought the mix was well balanced. The performances were good. Really nice bass playing and great tone on bass. Vocal was really good. As was already mentioned the drums were a little mechanical but that is a minor nit. I really like the arrangement too. I think it is an...

    Killing floor

Thanks TAE. Even though the guitar performance isn't my best work...I am EXTREAMLY happy with the guitar tone. Better enjoy it because I don't think I could capture that tone again if my life depended on it Lol

    Wicked Game (cover)

Nice voice. I see that this is mastered? The mix is good but the volume level is pretty low for a mastered track when compared to other recordings. Did you master it yourself or have someone else do it?

    Is this rock mix harsh?

Great song! The mix doesn't sound overly harsh to my ears. It could be smoother but it isn't bad now. Just remember 2 things that cause harshness: Too much compression and too much 2k frequency. So, if you compress a vocal or guitar heavily you are going to probably have to cut the frequencies...

    "Warm Like A Gun" - funk/rock/synth fusion

I love the tune. The performances are great all the way around. Great use of reverb and delay. It is saturated but it works. The guitar solo sat in the mix perfectly and sounded amazing. The whole recording is killer! My only nit with this, and it is an easy fix, is the S's on the vocals need...
